Exploring Sustainability at Alt Hotel Ottawa

Alt Hotels are designed and built with careful attention to environmental conservation, efficiency, and controls. Several green features are incorporated into their design, which not only enhance guests’ comfort, but contribute to the global effort to help preserve the environment. Geothermal heating and cooling systems, heat recovery programs, low-E windows to provide maximum light with minimum heat loss, and central room-key lighting control were integrated into the properties. They use products that can be reused, refilled or recycled and all of our hotels are smoke-free. These are a few of the strategies that every Alt Hotel employs.

Come hear and see first-hand Alt Hotel Ottawa’s approach to sustainability in this interactive building tour with Tyler Otto, Engineering Manager and Jean Philip Dupre, General Manager. Stay afterwards for a drink in the lounge and network with other businesses.

This is a networking event with a building tour component.
